Who is Vishwas Kini?
Vishwas Kini made his debut in 2011 from hindi film ‘Luv Ka The End‘. Vishwas has appeared in several films like Punjab 1984 (2014), Raag Desh (2017) and Veere Di Wedding (2018), Battalion 609 (2019). However, he is best known for playing a rich Delhi guy named ‘Bhandari‘ in Kareena Kapoor starrer Veere Di Wedding, co-produced by Ekta Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor and Nikhil Dwivedi.
Lately, Vishwas is getting eyeballs for his performance in Netflix web series ‘She 2‘. He is playing the role of a police officer named ‘Jason Fernandiz‘ along with lead actress Aaditi Pohankar.

Vishwas Kini used to do plays and theatre in Jalandhar then one fine day he decided to move to Mumbai, he packed his bags and told his parents that he wants to become an actor and wish to try his luck in Mumbai. At first his family were apprehensive but his mother and sister supported him and in 2010 he came to Mumbai.

TV Advertisements
Luckily, after three days of coming to Mumbai he got the first tv commercial, it was a corporate ad film for Mahindra, Vishwas got his first pay cheque of Rs.5000. This was his first baby step towards the glamour world.
Later he appeared in several other advertisements and worked with one of the finest actors like Shahrukh Khan.

During his stay in Mumbai, he assisted the top casting directors like Shanoo Sharma and Mukesh Chhabra.
In 2011, he made his debut from the hindi bollywood movie ‘Luv Ka The End‘. Then he appeared in a punjabi movie titled ‘Punjab 1984‘, which received the national award for being the best regional film. Couple of years later, he was casted in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s ‘Raag Desh’ (2017) where he played a surd and then comes the most promising movie ‘Veere Di Wedding‘, Vishwas played the role of rich Delhi guy ‘Bhandari‘ which everyone loved. Other prominent characters in the movie were played by Kareena Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, Shikha Talsania, Sumeet Vyas.
Apart from the feature films Vishwas Kini was also seen in a short film called ‘Jutti – the Shoe‘ written and directed by Mohinder Pratap Singh while Shivani Raghuvanshi and Deepika Sharma joined the main cast.
In 2018, Vishwas was featured in Sonu Nigam’s song Chaathaton Ke Saye Mein.
Web Series
The best part about Vishwas is that he never restricted himself to only one type of character or cinema. Therefore he explored the web and acted in Nagesh Kukunoor’s crime series ‘City of Dreams‘ produced by Applause Entertainment. The web series first streamed in May 2019 on Disney Hotstar.
