Sarfaraz Khan rose to fame when he broke Sachin Tendulkar’s Harris Shield record from 1988. He scored an impressive 439 runs from 421 balls at the age of 12 while representing Rizvi Springfield School. His outstanding performance caught the attention of cricket fans across the country.

All this led him to represent the Mumbai Under-19 team and later the Indian Under-19 team. Then, his remarkable batting display in the 2014 and 2016 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cups cemented his reputation as an emerging talent.
