Her father, Jim Harris, and mother, Maree Harris, provided an environment in which Grace’s cricketing skills flourished. She shares her childhood with one brother Harry Davis and two sisters, Laura Harris and Eliza Harris.

  • Grace Harris made her mark in cricket from an early age. She was included in the Brisbane Heat’s squad in 2015. Her impactful performance also came in the same year when she scored 103 (55) and took four wickets too for the Brisbane Heat against the Sydney Sixers. This amazing allround display pushed her to the spotlight during the inaugural season of the WBBL.
  • Harris was included in the Brisbane Heat’s team for the 2018-19 Women’s Big Bash League season in November 2018. On 19 December 2018, she achieved the WBBL’s fastest innings of 100 runs in just 42 balls.
  • In December 2020, Grace Harris proved her potential in the Queensland Premier Cricket League. She scored two centuries in a row for Western Suburbs. Harris gained fame in 2023, when she joined UP Warriorz in the inaugural season of the Women’s Premier League.

International Career

  • In June 2015, she was called up to replace Delissa Kimmince in the T20I squad. Later, Grace made her T20I debut against the Ireland Women during the Australian women’s cricket team’s tour to England and Ireland.
  • Grace continued to shine and earned her place in the national squad for WODI and T20I against Indian Women in January 2016. She made her WODI debut against India Women in the same series. It further cemented her presence in the Australian cricketing scene.
  • Her consistent performances for Western Suburbs earned her a spot in Australia’s A squad for their series against England A. Then, she was included in the national team for the 2022 Women’s Cricket World Cup in New Zealand. Harris was also selected for Australia’s cricket team for the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England.
