Laila is a romantic drama series which has been released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on 27th February 2024 on the Ullu Ott app. The web series features actors Mahi Patil, Ajay Bafna and Chandrima Banerjee in the lead roles. In this series Mahi Patil is playing the double role of Sheila and Laila, while Ajay Bafna is playing the character of Vishadh and Chandrima is playing the character of Laila’s mother called Nusrat. Laila Web Series Story: A Story of Love and Deceit
The story of Laila web series revolves around a couple ‘Vishadh’ and ‘Sheila’ who loves each other very much. Unfortunately, one day while enjoying on the road, Sheila hits by a truck and dies.
Afterwards, Vishadh turns alcoholic and become lonely. Later he comes across a gorgeous girl in his neighbourhood called Laila, who resembles Sheila and he falls in love with her. That very moment he decides to get her love at any cost. Therefore, he tries a non-conventional route and starts bonding with Laila’s mother ‘Nusrat’ just to stay close to Laila and make false commitments of marriage to her.
One day Nusrat finds Vishadh’s personal diary with a picture her daughter. After looking at the pic she becomes furious and confronts Vishadh but he pushes her in front of the truck, what happens next is still a suspense.
