After beating Sri Lanka in Asia Cup 2023 finals, India is on cloud nine and the Indian team is very much excited to play their first ODI ICC World Cup 2023 match on 8th October with Australia. The first world cup match between India and Australia will be played at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.
Amidst all the preparations, BCCI has announced its squad of 15 players which will participate in the ICC Men’s WC 2023. Ahead of the tournament players will get enough time to gel with the environment and other teams during warm-up matches.

Prior to the group stage, India will play 2 warm-up matches, one with Group A and another with Group B. Afterwards, the team will head to the main tournament. India will play its first warm-up match on 30th September 2023 with England at Barsapara Cricket Stadium located in Guwahati.
